(Kazam screencaster)Blank gui box instead of 5 seconds countdown to record when recording screencast.

1) Lubuntu 12.04 i386 hdd install
2) kazam 1.0.6-0ubuntu1
3) The expected 5 countdown to record dispalying the numbers 5-4-3-2-1.
4) My experience has been a blank gui box instead of the visual countdown display. I have experienced the kazam blank box on two different machines. I have attached a file with two screenshot images providing a visual of what I am experiencing using kazam in Lubuntu.
