Bug Description
Katapult doesn't update as new packages are installed. Say if one had Katapult running and one installed a new piece of software that even adds a new entry to start menu. Katapult does not realise and you have to restart the process for it to update.
It isn't particularly important just polish really.

I can confirm this. I think that the KDE bugtracker is probably the best place for this feature request but sadly I was not able to report it. The Bugwizard was hanging at a certain point.
