Bug Description

Binary package hint: kaffeine

If I open a pls file (stream radio) from firefox or konquer, I get a box to choose the application to open it. If I pick kaffeine, it goes into endless loop and halt the system. The same happens if I try to open a mp3 file from the firefox or konquer (same sequence)

1)
 lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10

2)
apt-cache policy kaffeine
kaffeine:
  Installed: 1.0~pre2-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1.0~pre2-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1.0~pre2-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3) I expected kaffeine to start and play the radio stream

4) kaffeine splash screen showed, and kaffeine went into endless loop.

When I started kaffeine, I noticed it started eating memory very fast. It would never show.

I just deleted kaffeine configurations, and it started fine. But now I do not have old configuration causing this bug :(

Maybe the problem is playing radio streams (pls files)
