Binary package hint: kaffeine
When launching Kaffeine to play an audio CD, the following "Cannot find input plugin for MRL [cdda:/] in Kubuntu Karmic. This worked until an update that was applied a day or two ago.

Same issue there.
I have two CDROM units on my computer, and KDE is unable to play any CD audio, even with Kaffeine. With Kaffeine I have the above message.
