Binary package hint: k3b
K3b apparently rip well CD-Audio tracks to MP3 (lame), but when rip is finished, you will not find the supposed output MP3 file, it is missing, so any track ripped?

Same problem here, there is a bug in karmic and k3b - mp3 (lame) conversion.
I tried to convert a flac audio file to mp3, k3b is reporting no errors and a correct progress bar, but when the conversion is finished, there is no mp3 file. If i do a ogg vorbis conversion all is correct.
