Bug Description
Binary package hint: jockey-gtk
I am running Karmic
I was trying to install the nvidia drivers using System->Hardware Drivers, and it kept failing. I realised I had an instance of Synaptic package manager open, and knowing this causes problems for things like 'apt-get' i closed it and tried again, this worked fine.
jockey-gtk should probably warn that another instance of Synaptic might be open, to give users a possible solution to this problem rather than have users wonder why they can't get the drivers.
