Bug Description

Hello guys, this is me:
Ubuntu-studio
$ uname -a
Linux castle 3.2.0-23-lowlatency #31-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Wed Apr 11 02:24:03 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
 - Started jack:
$ jackd -dalsa -s
Get sound chopped, desincronized and distorted from vlc, qmmp just dies and hanges until I kill jackd
===================================================================================

vlc reduced to sink sound and killed jack.... The same with qmmp
========================================================
jackd -dalsa "hw0:0" -zshaped -D -i2 -o2 -r96000 -s
works, but distorts, chops and slows audio 2 times down instead of resampling, using vlc.
qmmp just hangs and dies only after jackd killing.
========================================================
jackd -dalsa "hw0:0" -zshaped -D -i2 -o2 -r96000
dies as jackd -dalsa
========================================================
Though, alsasink opens any time I start jack
