I am unable to change font in IM windows

Bug Description

Binary package hint: instantbird

I am using Mavericks build on Lucid but it still shouldn't make a difference

Using Instantbird i am unable to change the font in an IM.

steps to reproduce:
1. Go to AIM buddy list
2. Go to Tools -> Preferences -> Content
3. Select the colors/ there is no bold setting
4. Open chat and type

What i expect to happen:
It changes my font to what i selected

What happens:
Nothing happens

This bug is fixed in the upcoming Instantbird 1.2 release, and in Instantbird 1.1 for all message styles that don't override the font selection.

Unfortunately the Instantbird version in the ubuntu repos is very out of date. You can download newer versions directly from instantbird.com.
