i got this bug, when iam trying install apps through terminal

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: dpkg: error: unknown option --validate-version
[...]
dpkg: error processing package initramfs-tools (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

This should not happen. Which dpkg version do you have installed?

dpkg -l | grep dpkg
