package indicator-weather 11.11.28-0ubuntu1.2 crashes at start-up: failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Apport reports crash after every start-up/logon but the weather indicator is still visible and working on the menu.
During the last upgrade of the indicator-weather package there was an error along the lines of "Unable to remove /usr/share/indicator-weather/indicator-weather.gschema.xml: no such file or directory." (Sorry I don't have the exact wording in front of me)
I was able to resolve the error and allow the instillation to continue by finding the file indicator-weather.gschema.xml in another directory (/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/) and copying it to /usr/share/indicator-weather/ so that the install process could delete it. (Now that I think of it, presumably `touch` would have had the same effect.)
