The cpufreq indicator doesn't work with intel_pstate

Bug Description
After upgrading from 3.13 (trusty) to 3.16 (utopic) most cpufreq stuff have vanished.
$ cat /sys/devices/
performance powersave
$ cat /sys/devices/
intel_pstate
$ cat /sys/devices/
2600000
$ cat /sys/devices/
performance
$ sudo cat /sys/devices/
2291679
$ cat /sys/devices/
2600000
$
I suppose this is because of the transition to intel_pstate. However, the frequencies seem to be wrong. I'm pretty sure the max freq used to be less than 2000000, and when entering performance mode the cpu ran at something like 1,8 GHz.
However, both /proc/cpuinfo and /sys/devices/
