Bug Description

Assuming the package affected is indicator-appmenu as opposed to unity.

Before the upgrade to 5.2 today, the appmenu was very smooth when moving the mouse and transitioning between different menu entries (File, Edit, etc). Since the update, it's sluggish and seems to skip/lag as I move my mouse across the different entries. I tend to move my mouse quite fast, and because of this it seems like the menu is having trouble keeping up with my mouse movements (kinda leaves shadows behind briefly as well).

Basically, the transition is not as smooth as it should be.
