The Conversation > Insert Smiley menu in Empathy is a little special: it provides images, not text, for each supported smiley, arranged on a grid to save space and showing a tooltip with the related text used for the smiley.
In Ubuntu's global menu however, it's displayed as a long, empty menu, no grid, no images and no tooltips. Selecting an entry still inserts the smiley in the conversation window, but it's not really usable that way. |
