Changed menu contents are not being updated in HUD

Bug Description
The applications I checked this bug for are totem and vlc media player:
Pause a running movie or music via [alt], "pause", [enter]. Now the menu should contain "play" instead of "pause", but the HUD content is not up to date, you can resume the video via the search term "pause" and you would not find "play" in the HUD.
This is possibly a general bug I think.
