Bug Description
IDO calendar menu item wraps GtkCalendar and the effect is poor keyboard interaction, spurious focus changes, week start date unconfigurable.
The proposed solution is to develop the IDO calendar menu item further by removing the wrapped GtkWidget and replacing it with a custom grid layout menu.
