Bug Description

libhts-dev:amd64 1.10.2-3 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libhts.a

contins stripped objects, so one can't link against this library

% nm /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libhts.a

kfunc.o:
nm: kfunc.o: no symbols

knetfile.o:
nm: knetfile.o: no symbols
...

% ar -x /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libhts.a
% file *
bcf_sr_sort.o: ELF 64-bit LSB relocatable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
bgzf.o: ELF 64-bit LSB relocatable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
