Bug Description

Binary package hint: hplip

hi together,

since yesterday evening, I have the problem, that since these last updates the gui of hplip Toolbox does not show up anymore on the screen and if I start it from Terminal, I get this output:

Segmentation-fault (core dumped).

There are no further details given. Yesterday evening at about 23 pm CET, an update first removed hplip and another package. Then followed a further update and then I was able to reinstall it again and Installation went clean without any problems.

But as I wanted to use this Toolbox this morning, the gui did not show up on the screen and the Terminal gave me the above output.

So how can I fix this myself or how can this be solved??

Greetings

I wanted to add, that all necessary paackages for using a HP-printer in Ubuntu are marked as installed in my Synaptic.

As a proof, I enclose a Screenshot from my Synaptic.
