Bug Description
Binary package hint: hibernate
Following scenario works ok: I am logged on, select to hibernate; computer hibernates , I restart the computer and he comes back to where I was (or to the unlock screen). Perfect! And this works also for all other users of the computer.
But when I hibernate from the logon screen, the resume is not working correctly. The computer restarts, ubuntu says it is starting up, but the computer never goes to the graphical UI. It seems to hang in text mode (there is hardly any message); even worse: when I then press "Ctrl-ALT-DEL" the computer restarts (actually doing a graceful linux shutdown in text mode).
I can press alt F2 to login in text mode, and when I then 'exit' the computer starts the graphical UI en brings me back to the logon screen.
Actually, I believe that the computer when I hibernate from logon screen, directly goes to text mode before it shutsdown. So maybe the issue lies in the hibernate process itself.
