I can confirm this on the new lucid daily build (i386 - 11-Jan-2010).

This bug is also present in the 20100112.1 i386 desktop iso. It seems more intermittent with the updated image, whereas it was after every boot in the (i386 - 11-Jan-2010) image. This error/ crash occurred in both the live cd environment & on after an install.
