I upgrade from 7.04 to 7.10 T.2 and now I get this message on every boot.

Forgot to add that i'm using autologin.

I have not tried what's on this following page but there might be a timing issue

[TEMP FIX ]
changed auto login to timed login set the time for over a minute.
faster computer might need less time slower will need more compared to a AMD64 2800/51

did you try using "sudo /etc/init.d/udev restart" and rebooting? That worked for me when I had the HAL error
