h5utils doesn't find colormaps

Bug Description

Binary package hint: h5utils

All the commands of the package h5utils can't find the path for the colormap (see e.g. h5topng).
This is a well known bug that should be corrected by updating the package to the last version, as suggested by its creator (look at this link)

Just ran into this bug. The workaround is to specify the fully-qualified path to the colormap file. Yuck.

The latest h5utils version has been stuck at 1.12.1 for quite some time, and this has been available in Debian & Ubuntu for quite some time too.
