Bug Description
Binary package hint: gwibber
When you enter the wrong username for your Flickr account in Gwibber, Gwibber silently fails, but doesn't notice the user. The user who entered the wrong username doesn't understand what happened and thinks Gwibber is broken.
When you enter a wrong username, the following traceback is visible in the command line:
ERROR:Gwibber Dispatcher:
DEBUG:Gwibber Dispatcher:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/
message_data = PROTOCOLS[
File "/home/
return getattr(self, opname)(**args)
File "/home/
user_
File "/home/
return tmp["user"]["nsid"]
KeyError: 'user'
The problem is worsened by the fact that you have to enter your Yahoo! username to access Flickr with Gwibber; your Flickr username -- if different from your Yahoo! username -- won't work. Noticing the user about this in the account creation window will help a lot as well.
This issue is confirmed with the trunk.

Btw, how can you generate this traceback? All I see when launching gwibber via the terminal is "Updating..."
