gv failed to configure, post-installation script error

Bug Description
After installation, when trying to configure gv package, post-installation script returned an error saying that the package failed to configure, error in package gv. And, it can't be uninstalled too.
The version of gv is 3.6.4-3, from repos, Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex (final) 64bit.

Just learned that the cause for this issue was TeXLive 2007's and TeXLive 2008's version of install-info which is in conflict with system's version of install-info (applies to Ibex, Jaunty and Karmic; see bug #295542). Solving the bug #295542 automatically solves this one too.
