driver i4000 (print glue) for canon i905d

Bug Description
Binary package hint: foomatic-
Until the installation of Ubuntu Intrepid (32 bits)(from ubuntu 7.04 7.10 8.04 8.10 that i used ) i used for my canon printer i905d the driver i4000 (print glue). Currently the same driver prints at the left side of the page So it's not compatible with my printer any more. Please help me .

I confirm this bug also with Karmic Koala beta.
First there isn't any specific driver available for canon i905D.
Furthermore also driver for pixma ip4000 (recommended by many forums over the internet) and driver for i865 doesn't work and prints on the left side of the page, make them unusable.
