Bug Description
Binary package hint: gucharmap
Searching for the pronunciation of CJK characters doesn't find anything. When the 'Search in character details' box is checked, it should include those pronunciations.
For example, searching for 'usagi' should find the 兎 character (514E) by its Japanese (kun) pronunciation. I seem to recall that some earlier version did this just fine.
versions: gucharmap 1:2.22.1-0ubuntu2, libgucharmap6 1:2.22.1-0ubuntu2
BTW, would it be possible to include the 'Search in character details' check in the persistent settings?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
