Bug Description

Occurs on GTranslator 2.90.5-2
This is a behaviour which was not there on a previous version of GTranslator (before 2.90) : When you edit a .po translation entry, pressing the spacebar while typing text erases your translation and replaces it with the original string instead of inserting a space. Actually, I think this action should only be done with Ctrl+Space, which would make sense.

I am on Ubuntu 11.10 i386, with a fr-fr azerty keyboard layout.

This was a bug in the fr keyboard layout, so it is not related with gtranslator.

Hello Ignacio,
Could you elaborate on this keyboard layout bug (a link to a bug ticket) ? This does not happen in any other software, including other .po editors.

Ok, just found it. The default layout for Ubuntu (France, Alternative) translates a press on the spacebar to the non-breaking space. Setting the layout to France restores a correct bahaviour. Thanks.
