Bug Description

Binary package hint: gthumb

If I try to open a file with GThumb and a file is placed in directory with the name, containig commas, GThumb is unable to turn to next and previous files in the same folder.
Example:

username@host:/home/username/folder, with, commas$ ls
photo.jpg image.jpg picture.jpg
username@host:/home/username/folder, with, commas$ gthumb photo.jpg

---
Then Gthumb opens file photo.jpg but is unable to turn to files image.jpg and picture.jpg in view mode.

GThumb version is 3:2.10.8-0ubuntu1

It seems that it takes the words between commas like 3 different folders. Thanks for report it.

I am able to reproduce the issue consistently with following configuration:

ubuntu version: 8.04.1
package version: 3:2.10.8-0ubuntu1

Floppy formator,
for completion, can you also provide the ubuntu version you are running?

I have reported this bug upstream. There is already a bug opened upstream root cause of which seems the same as this one's. The upstream bug is:

I have the same version of Ubuntu, also I have latest updates.
