GStreamer fails to play audio in DVB x-h264 stream

Having problems watching TV with totem/gnome-dvb-daemon: no sound on Danish MPEG4 channels. MPEG2 channels are OK.

I isolated the problem to gstreamer that stops when decoding the audio stream:
GST_DEBUG=mpeg*:5 gst-launch-0.10 dvbbasebin inversion=AUTO bandwidth=8 frequency=714000000 program-numbers=2030 ! decodebin name=decoder decoder. ! queue ! alsasink decoder. ! xvimagesink > debug_audio.txt 2>&1

Playing without audio works without problems:
GST_DEBUG=mpeg*:5 gst-launch-0.10 dvbbasebin inversion=AUTO bandwidth=8 frequency=714000000 program-numbers=2030 ! decodebin name=decoder decoder. ! queue ! xvimagesink > debug_no_audio.txt 2>&1

Running the above commands work with and without audio on MPEG2 channels.
