I can't play video with subtitles needs text/x-microdvd plugin which isn't installable. There was no problem earlier.

Ok. I now see where is the problem.
Totem can't handle with subtitles which have format like this one:
{142}{171}Prawie, Chris.

{172}{229}Pamiêtajcie, kiedy dotrzemy|do chatki pana Quagmire'a,

{230}{302}nie dotykajcie niczego|zanim tego nie zdezynfekujê.

{303}{370}Mi³o ze strony Quagmire'a,|¿e pozwoli³ nam skorzyst

there is no problem using subtitles with this format:
00:00:28:Lois, nie zmuszaj mnie do tego znowu.

00:00:30:Peter, trochê kultury|dobrze zrobi tej rodzinie.

00:00:33:Poza tym podoba³ ci siê|"Dziadek do orzechów", prawda?

00:00:35:Nie, Lois.|Nie podoba³.
