Bug Description
There really has to be a configuration program for the bootloader in future versions, which lets me change the entries displayed there, and especially reinstall the boot manager in case it was overwritten by other operating systems.
Also the default GRUB theme is very ugly, it should be changed to a graphical one.
And there should be an option in the live cd to start an installed ubuntu system which will be searched on the harddisk(s). If the bootloader is overwritten, there´s no way for a non-experianced user to boot into his system by now.

Thanks for your report. Your idea might get more attention and have
the possibility of being implemented if you would submit a
specification for this.
You should first check whether it already exists at the Ubuntu specs /launchpad. net/distros/ ubuntu/ +specs) in Launchpad. If suggestions. Otherwise you can start writing a spec /wiki.ubuntu. com/FeatureSpec ifications.
