gringotts crashes with segfault

Binary package hint: gringotts

Hi,

gringotts 1.2.10~pre1-2 crashes immediately after starting with segmentation fault on my intrepid beta AMD64 system.

Unfortunately I can't generate a trace of the crash, because if I strace it, it works. So it might be a problem with the memory allocation (which it requires suid root privileges for which it does not have when beeing straced).

Same problem on an intrepid Intel 64bit system. Segfaults on start, works ok on strace.

Same problem, also amd64 and intrepid. Gringotts version is 1.2.10pre1. No problem when started with strace.

This is not a duplicate of bug #334383

I still have this problem on Jaunty RC. As mentioned above, strace does not lead to the segfault. Otherwise, the app consistently segfaults even after changing the memory locking limit to a high enough value.

If someone has a segfault please try to delete ~/.gringotts.recent
Iv have also delete ~/.gringotts.conf and I have no more crash
