you could try to cheat and just re-pack the kernel snap with "architectures: armhf" in the snap.yaml (using unsquashfs, changing meta/snap.yaml in the unpacked binary and running "snapcraft snap $path_to_ unpack_ dir"), then ubuntu-device-flash should not complain anymore
