Gobby (9838) Does Not Start and Abort With Error Messages

Bug Description
I installed Gobby with KUbuntu 15.10 (Wily) and it does not start. Here are the error messages:
** (gobby:6867): WARNING **: Failed to create root directory: Permission denied
Subsequent storage operations will most likely fail
** (gobby:6867): WARNING **: Failed to write ACL for node "/": No such file or directory
The new ACL is applied but will be lost after a server re-start. This is a possible security problem. Please fix the problem with the storage!
** (gobby:6867): WARNING **: Failed to explore the root directory of the new storage: No such file or directory
Segmentation fault
I tried to install Gobby-0.4 and Gobby-0.5 from the website, but no avail. With Gobby-0.5 compiling stops due to missing dependencies, though I have all of them installed.
Is there a trick or unknown config file? BTW, I don't use the infinote server with my Ubuntu laptop; instead I only need Gobby to connect to the Infinote Server within the internal network.
