Bug Description

on a PC ubuntu 22.04 with NVIDIA card (problem not noted with PC with Intel graphics)
start gnumeric
enter some data
start another gnumeric
try to copy&paste special (say as value) the data from gnuemric1 to gnumeric2 (I use right click)
WORKS
try it again
FAILS...error message:

(gnumeric:889202): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 10:34:00.932: gdk_window_raise: assertion 'GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

I suspect this is not limited to gnuemric
