Invoice report not posting and wrong currency displayed

1) I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 .

When I create an Easy Invoice and Report on the invoice.
I try to post the invoice but it asks for the Account to post the invoice to. The default list of accounts in the pull down menu is missing and if I try to manually type the name of the account like Invoice:Sales it doesn't work. Therefore I cannot post the Invoice.

Also the Amounts are listed in USD When my default currency is CAD.
