Bug Description
My laptop has a built-in ethernet card and I use a PCMCIA wifi card extensively.
Using the network-admin from gnome-system-tools I am able to set up various
profiles, most which leave the ethernet card disabled.
However, when switching profiles, disabled interfaces which are up should be
ifdown --force'd. This has caused a great deal of headache to determine.
