Unable to uninstall Calibre

sudo apt purge calibre worked fine here

can you attach the full output of your apt commands and output please?

That usually indicates the package isn't installed or already removed. How did you install calibre?

Could you please attach the output of `apt policy calibre*` and `snap list | grep calibre` to see what it lists for the deb-packages and/or snap?

Ok, have you tried to remove the package through Ubuntu Software? Is it still listed as installed there?

I am still curious about the output of `apt policy calibre*` and `snap list | grep calibre`. If you have installed calibre as a snap, then apt wouldn't know about it and thus wouldn't know how to uninstall it.

Then I don't know I'm afraid. I've marked this as also affecting gnome-software for someone to take a look at it from that angle.
