Bug Description

rlsyslogd is a runaway process hogging one of my CPUs.

The following is repeatedly logged in my syslog:

Aug 22 20:41:00 alonzo gnome-shell[369997]: The offending callback was SourceFunc().
Aug 22 20:41:00 alonzo gnome-shell[369997]: Attempting to run a JS callback during garbage collection. This is most likely caused by destroying a Clutter actor or GTK widget with ::destroy signal connected, or using the destroy(), dispose(), or remove() vfuncs. Because it would crash the application, it has been blocked.

The CPU fan is really cranking.

I killed rsyslogd and that didn't seem to resolve it; I then restarted lightdm.
