### Bug summary
When pressing the super key with a couple windows open the first time after logging in, the window spread animation does not play.
### Steps to reproduce

1. Log in to a Wayland session.
2. Open two windows.
3. Hit the super key.

### What happened

The spread animation did not play, the two windows appear in the final frame without any animation. Subsequent presses result in the animation playing.

### What did you expect to happen

The animation should play the first time.
