Bug Description

Here is everything you need to know: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-298262.

From the above link:

Steps to Reproduce

    Open a project

In the "explorer" panel click "Open In" on something, then "Files"

Actual Result

The Files window is opened with it's icon being PyCharm's icon, and all subsequent folder openings now have PyCharm's icon until I reboot. So, "Open In" is unusable, and I have to open folders manually.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Libera.chat.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1982455/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

I can confirm this issue with Ubuntu 22.04 in as much as any attempt to open a further Files window will show on the dock as a PyCharm window. Once the Files window that was opened by PyCharm has been closed then the dock displays the 'dot' against Files correctly when further instances of Files are opened.
