Bug Description
It is possible to get the Dock to grey the background before hiding, but the headerbar remains transparent. This looks amazingly weird to me and think the previous behavior of the background between both Headerbar and Dock being coordinated was nicer. I do also really like the transparent headerbar with the Dock hidden, and I suspect this issue is a byproduct of that change.
Initially reported as a problem with the GTK community theme, which the dev team investigated and determined the issue was with Dash To Dock and/or the Ubuntu Dock. Link to the original Github issue, includes images and some discussion:
