Bug Description

I made a few a clean install of Ubuntu 22.04 and every thing worked perfectly. But somehow, icons desktop disappear every time and I can't create one. I don't install anything, just close the session and icons disappear. And then, even after a reboot, they don't come back.

  apport-collect 1982667

Also, while the problem is happening please run:

  journalctl -b0 > journal.txt

and attach the resulting text file here.

I add this capture because it shows the options available on the desktop with a right click. And the file which is in the desktop directory does not appear.

The above link can't be accessed. Please try renaming the file.

Please also try disabling fractional scaling in Settings and then log in again. Do the icons work after that?

This is the capture again and I tried to disabling fractional scaling but nothing change.
