Bug Description

In Ubuntu 17.10, in certain cases, when the menu is too long (because it contains too many elements), the bottom elements of the list does not appear, because they are out of the screen (see attached image, Remmina using appindicator in Ubuntu 17.10).
This problem could (maybe) be fixed making the menu automatically scrollable when it's too long for the screen resolution.

NOTE: there is a similar open issue in gnome-shell-extension-appindicator

I have the same problem with remmina and long menu whit many items.
this way the applet become useless for me: I cannot open the sub-menu to start the connection because there is non place to shift the menu down and let the sub-menu to open.

I also experience this problem. In the ownCloud menu, lower items, e.g. the activity monitor or the close app button, are inaccesible. See attached screenshot.

I also experienced this bug with a different clipboard history indicator. Also, these kind of applications (those that keep a history of clipboard contents for easy retrieval) are relatively common, so I disagree with the "low" priority categorization of this bug, which literally makes any indicator that is higher than your given screen height useless. As the sole purpose of this plugin is to display and allow interaction with indicators, such an issue seems fairly important. :-)

Bug still present in Ubuntu 18.04. Bug logged at Remmina for top bar connection list and were directed here. When too many connections is added the list goes over the screen and no scroll bar aprears.
