Bug Description
Up till natty (11.04), there was a gconf option reduce brightness_
The gconf option still is there, but as far as I can see it has no effect on the behaviour.
Note: this is a different option than dimming on idle!
1) Ubuntu 11.10
2) Versions:
gnome-
gnome-
3) Expected behaviour:
- I open power management options (and/or dconf) and find an option like: reduce brightness when on battery
4) what happened instead:
- no such option(s)
