Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
If "Do nothing" is selected for "When laptop lid is closed" and the laptop lid is closed, the external monitor never goes to sleep. If the lid is left open, the external monitor goes to sleep as it should.
To reproduce:
1. Set "Do nothing" for "When laptop lid is closed". If it's not listed, see here: http://
2. Set "Put display to sleep when inactive" to 0:01.
3. Disable screensaver if it's enabled.
4. Close the laptop lid.
5. Wait a few minutes.
Nothing happens.
If however the laptop lid is open, the monitor goes to sleep as it should.
