Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

When trying to use the slider of the brightness-Applet via Mouse, the slider closes directly. The only way to change the value is per mousewheel.

I'm using an Asus V6V Notebook with Pentium M, i915 Chipset, 2GB DDR2-Ram and Mobility Radeon X600 with 64MB.

I am experiencing the bug too. I am running Lucid 10.04. The version of the Power Manager Brightness Applet is 2.30.0 . The problem still persists whether I am using the trackpad or an attached mouse. I am running on a V130 Dell Vostro.
