Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

when g-p-m sends me a notification about my battering is running out of power, it should show a bar (such as the volume notification with the battery almost empty icon) instead of lots of text. This is more immediate

While you are at it, the bar could also be added to the nice batter status information that appears when one presses Fn+F3 on a thinkpad (which I discovered just a few days ago).
