2006-03-14 15:19:22 Paul Sladen description If the backlight brightness has been altered (for example it's a sunny day) and then the machine is suspended; on unsuspend the backlight brightness will suddenly jump back to the level configured in g-p-preferences after a couple of seconds, even if the AC power status as not changed. This looks fairly unslightly and it's necessarily wants wanted. Ideally g-p-manager should only act on its internal settings when a change of state occurs ('edge' rather than 'level').
