Laptop mode activated with "ENABLE_
/etc/default/
Laptop mode is running when I unplug the power cord (reduced CPU frequency) but
also the HD is spun down (which is deactivated in files

Please file in ubuntu bugtracker -- in upstream g-p-m does not modify the hard
drive spin down timeout in any way. thanks.

So it's a bug in Ubuntu's GPM.
Attachments of acpi-support and laptop-mode.conf are available in the upstream bug report.
PS: It is still working in Feisty Fawn, so what changed to Hardy? (I skipped Gibbon)
