Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
What I expected: Right clicking on a single window within a grouped window list would present a context menu allowing me to close the window.
What happened instead: The window came into focus.
It appears you can close individual windows by clicking on the "main" application placeholder for example "Firefox (3)" and then highlighting specific instance within the list and clicking "close" on the submenu presented. However, simply right clicking directly on a single window within the group results in the window simply coming into focus.
I hope that makes sense. I think right clicking on a specific window within a group really ought to allow you perform actions on that item rather than having to right click on the placeholder and go through the extra steps.

I agree - there is a usability issue here. After clicking on a group of applications there is no way to close a particular instance - only select (or switch) to an existing instance. However, I think that this issue needs to be filed upstream, i.e. with the Gnome people (see https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Bugs/ Upstream/ GNOME).
